Neymar, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, has signed a new deal with KONAMI, a Japanese entertainment business, as one of the new ambassadors for Pro Evolution Soccer.
Neymar's new role as ambassador will see him promote all KONAMI football titles, starting with "eFootball PES 2021: Season Update," which includes an appearance in the Iconic Moment Series on the MyClub mode.
So excited to announce that Ive partnered with KONAMI as an Official Ambassador for #PES2021 and beyond. Well have an iconic PES moment soon, so come and play! Neymar tweeted.
Since former FC Barcelona colleague Lionel Messi and Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo also have a deal with the brand, Neymar joins that list of high-profile advocates.
Other players with a KONAMI connection, such as Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies and Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, are also on board.
There's no need to worry about Neymar not appearing in the EA Sports FIFA franchise because this arrangement doesn't appear to be an exclusive image rights deal.
