The star player Cristiano Ronaldo has left the club with "immediate effect," according to an earlier report on a turbulent day for the English giants.
Ronaldo has commented on the club's official website following the announcement of the termination of his contract. On November 22, 2022, Manchester United released a formal statement on their website confirming the end of Cristiano Ronaldo's contract.
According to @Fabrizio Romano Ronaldo stated:
We've decided to end our contract after speaking with Manchester United. I adore Manchester United and the supporters, and that won't ever change. The time seems right to look for a new challenge. I send my best wishes to Manchester United.
The Red Devils had previously stated that they would make a decision after consulting with the appropriate parties after the full interview was made public online.
Ronaldo accused Manchester United of betraying him because he thought some of the club's top managers were attempting to get rid of him. He also claimed that Erik Ten Hag, the manager, did not treat him with enough respect, using the match against Tottenham as an example.
Ronaldo will be a free agent when the January transfer window opens as a result of this decision.
