Michail Antonio scored the lone goal as West Ham beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in a London derby played on Sunday afternoon.
Antonio's Antonio’s second-half strike was enough to guide the Hammers past Nuno Espirito's side and moved above them on the table.
The hosts started strongly, perhaps with the little incentive of knowing a win could see them move about their opponents, and they did well in the opening quarter an hour.
Despite efforts from both teams, there was no goal in the opening half, and they had to wait up until the 72nd minute when Antonio managed to get to the end of an Aaron Cresswell ball and tap into the net.
Despite Spurs fighting to have an equaliser, David Moyes' team held on for the win, inflicting a fourth successive derby defeat to Espirito's side.
