This season there seem to be some safe picks from both Manchester City and Chelsea. By this I mean players who are likely to play most weeks.
The likes of Ruben Dias (£6.2m), Joao Cancelo (£6.3m), Antonio Rudiger (£5.8m), Mason Mount (£7.5m), Romelu Lukaku (£11.5m) and Phil Foden (£8.1m), in his current form, seem likely to start in at least nine out of every 10 matches as long as they are fit and available, so looking towards those picks seems wise.
