Marcus Rashford to return to Man Utd squad for Leicester clash

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Marcus Rashford is in line to make his first appearance of the season when Manchester United travel to face Leicester City on Saturday.

The 23-year-old has not been seen since the Euro 2020 final, after which he elected to undergo surgery on a shoulder injury which had been troubling him for the best part of a year.

He recently revealed that he feels 'fully free from injury' for the first time in months, and now Solskjaer has confirmed that Rashford will return to the United squad for Saturday's game.

"Hes in the squad, yes," Solskjaer told a press conference (via the club's official website). "If hes going to start or not, I cant tell you now because it wouldnt be right but hes worked really hard throughout the whole lay-off.

Hes been really bright this week, he had a 60-minute involvement in a behind-closed-doors game last week so hes fit and raring to go."
