Paul Scholes has called Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's red card following the 5-0 loss to Liverpool "ridiculous."
Man United had one of their most embarrassing days in the club's history, as they were completely overwhelmed by their hated rivals, who scored all five of their goals in the first 50 minutes.
Pogba, who had been brought in as a half-time substitute, was sent off just 15 minutes after his arrival for a studs-up challenge on Naby Keita.
Scholes went on to criticize the World Cup winner's mindset four days after predicting such a defeat.
Speaking to the Premier League, Scholes said: "To say a disappointing day would be a complete understatement. Liverpool had too much quality. I don't think it was a lack of effort from United; I think tactically they were set up in a way where this could happen, and unfortunately, it did.
