Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard said he wants Ashley Young to increase his live on the club after the 36-yr-vintage's deal expires at the stop of the season.
Young joined Villa on a unfastened transfer from Inter Milan in June 2021, returning to the Birmingham membership a decade after he left for Manchester United.
"I've made it clean to Ash that I want him to stay around," Gerrard stated. "There have already been discussions.
"The key to this will usually be the participant. He has to be glad, want to stay, negotiate and feature his people connect to the membership.
"There's nonetheless a lot to talk about and there is no rush however I'll make it clean that we are very happy with him."
Former England global Young has made 23 appearances for Villa this season, which include 11 starts.
