Gareth Southgate is the manager of England National Football Team. England was defeated by France in the Quater finals which lead England to sadly exit the 2022 World Cup Tournament. Back in June England lost a home game to Hungry 4 nil , fans got disappointed and started to boo the manager after the match.
After the defeat to France, Southgate said he needed time to rethink his future wheather to continue with England or not. However, he was impressed by support he got from players within the team including Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Jordan Pickford. Southgate has informed the Football Association that he intends to lead the team at Euro 2024 in Germany after taking a week to reflect on his future.
The FA Ceo Mark Cullingham confirmed Gareth Southgate continuation as England National Team Manager via a statement. In the statement Cullingham said "Gareth Southgate will be continuing as England Manager and will lead the Euro 2024 campaign."
