However, it all got a little too much for Mourinho.
Unhappy with referee Davide Massa's performance, the Portuguese manager let his emotions get the better of him, firstly being booked for dissent in the 19th minute. He later breached his technical area and looked exasperated on the touchline, gesticulating uncontrollably and appearing to kick an object.
