Chelsea assistant manager Zsolt Low has admitted that keeping Thomas Tuchel’s stars motivated for a Premier League title challenge is proving tough.
The Blues enjoyed a remarkable second half of last season, resulting in Champions League triumph. While they had not slipped too far off the pace under Frank Lampard, Roman Abramovich pulled the plug.
What followed from the Chelsea owner’s decision to sack Lampard and bring in Tuchel proved massively unexpected.
The Blues went all the way to the Champions League final, clinching their second win in the competition.
However, boss Tuchel now has his sights set on Chelsea’s first Premier League title since 2017. And he has re-employed the services of star striker Romelu Lukaku to help them get over the line.
